How It Works

1

Choose Faction

Select your warband's Grand Alliance faction and fighter type. Each faction has unique strengths and playstyles in Warcry.

2

Enter Fighter Stats

Input your fighter's Attacks, Strength, Normal Damage, and Critical Damage values from their fighter card.

3

Set Target Info

Enter the target's Toughness, Save value, and remaining Wounds to calculate realistic damage output.

4

Calculate & Compare

Get expected damage, wounds dealt, and after-save damage. Add multiple fighters to compare and build your warband's strategy.

Damage Formula

The calculator uses the following Warcry combat mechanics:

Hit Chance = (7 - Attack Roll Needed) / 6  |  Crit Chance = 1/6 per attack  |  Save Chance = (7 - Save Value) / 6  |  Expected Damage = Attacks × [Hit% × Dmg + Crit% × CritDmg]  |  After Save = Expected Dmg × (1 - Save%)

Hit Roll: If Strength > Toughness, hit on 3+. If Strength = Toughness, hit on 4+. If Strength < Toughness, hit on 5+.
Critical: A roll of 6 always crits, dealing Critical Damage and counting as a hit. Only non-crit hits deal Normal Damage.
