How Pitch and Speed Work

  • Speed (Tempo): Changes how fast the audio plays without affecting the musical key/pitch.
  • Pitch (Key): Changes the musical key without affecting the speed. Measured in semitones (half-steps).
  • 12 semitones = 1 full octave. +12 = one octave higher, -12 = one octave lower.
  • Both can be adjusted independently for karaoke, practice, remixing, and more.
